UrgoTul® Lite:
- promotes the healing of skin wounds
- provides and maintains a moist environment favourable for the healing process: in contact with wound exudate, TLC healing matrix gelifies, which maintains a moist environment necessary to wound healing. This moist environment allows to promote fibroblasts proliferation in vitro and therefore to optimize the reconstruction of dermis in vitro.
- is easy to apply and repositionable during application
- is flexible (adapts to the body area to which it is applied) and comfortable
- is suitable to also cover the perilesional skin even when it is altered
- is vapour permeable
- is atraumatic for the wound bed when removed
- usable in wounds in difficult area such as sacrum, heel, or knee.
- painless at removal, for the patient: the TLC healing matrix gelifies in contact with the wound bed, provides a long-lasting moist environment and does not dry out.
- can be cut with sterile scissors.
INDICATIONS
One of the key properties in dressing used in advanced wound care is to contribute to ensure a favorable moist environment. This allows the healing process of the wound and the skin to restore.
UrgoTul® Lite is indicated for covering and treating skin wounds, including all acute and chronic wounds in the granulation phase and until complete healing, such as:
- Burns
- Traumatic wounds
- Surgical/post-operative wounds
- Epidermolysis bullosa
UrgoTul® Lite is suitable for application to wounds with difficult skin location (for example, sacrum, heel, or knee).
