UrgoTul® Absorb
Foam dressing with TLC matrix
FEATURES AND CLINICAL BENEFITS
Treatment with UrgoTul® Absorb promotes the healing of skin wounds.
In contact with wound exudate (fluid in the wound), the TLC matrix of UrgoTul Absorb gelifies, which helps to maintain a moist environment necessary for wound healing.
UrgoTul® Absorb:
- is easy to apply and is repositionable during application.
- is flexible (adapts to the body area to which it is applied) and comfortable.
- is suitable to also cover the perilesional skin (skin surrounding the wound) even when it is altered.
- is vapour permeable.
- is atraumatic and reduces pain at removal.
INDICATIONS
- UrgoTul® Absorb is indicated for covering and treating skin wounds.
- UrgoTul® Absorb is suitable for application to wounds with difficult skin location (for example, sacrum, heel or knee).
- UrgoTul® Absorb must be secured with a dressing securement system (for example, medical tape, bandage, or tubular mesh).
